Mum and I haven't been talking since she was decidedly unsupportive over the cancer issue. Given that she's supposed to be one of my closest relatives, I called her on Thursday to tell her about the all clear.
Today she added me on Facebook.
WTF?
Anyway, I ok-ed it.
And read her "About her" section.
"Married to... live in..." and then "I have one beautiful and talented daughter [Insert Name of The Sister here] who lives close by. I have a dog called Bailey... blah blah"
One daughter.
Oh, that's nice.

I left her a message on the wall that read: "One daughter? Cheers"
Then I deleted her and added her to my block list.
Am supposed to be driving over there Boxing Day evening after having the day at my Aunt's house. Am supposed to then spend the evening in the local with them and stay the night and drive the 150 miles back to London the following day.
I'm just not going to turn up.
Maybe you should go but just get a tshirt made up saying "the other daughter," or something along those lines.
That way you can tell everyone over turkey.

I'm going to play "Devil's advocate" and say "maybe she didn't mean it like that; maybe she..." oh f*** it - there's no excuse, you just don't write that! I'm going to growl in her general direction for a bit and maybe it'll scare her :)
